Sentient Feeder Rods
Using the correct guides, reel seat and handle is very important when designing a rod, but the real key to a good rod is the design and construction of the blank. The new CarbonActive Sentient range still retains the 'non-lockup actions' from the first CarbonActive.
These new rods were initially suggested by Tom Pickering who felt there was a gap in the market that needed to be filled. Whilst many manufacturers have been concentrating on rods suitable for match sized carp, few have also focused on more traditional match rods suited to light lines..

All of the models have the CarbonActive 'non lock-up' action designed for optimum fish-playing and the correct amount of casting power, lower in the blank, for accurate, long distance casts.
