The latest carbon fibre cloth and advanced resins have transferred the well accepted design of CarbonActive into a more refined blank that has a fantastic tip action ideally suited to light lines. All of the rods have undergone extensive testing to ensure they meet the high standard expected by our customers. Digital lift tests have proved that all Sentient rods will lift a 1kg dead-weight. This is much more pressure than is exerted when playing a fish in match type conditions and whilst we are not suggesting anglers should start lifting 2lb fish, it's reassuring to know that rods with such forgiving, refined actions also have the raw strength to cope with just about all types of match fishing.
